During project work and as a preparation for the sales moments next schoolyear, the students of 5 EW visited some inspiring places in Amsterdam.
‘De Hallen’ is a beautiful combination of private and public initiative where commercial and social activities are being put together. It was once a disadvantaged neighbourhood, but now you can discover a library, a hotel, social workplaces, a cinema, foodhalls .. which of course attracts many tourists. The students were really inspired by the foodhalls which motivates them for their own project for next schoolyear.
They also enjoyed a delicous cake at ‘De Taart van mijn tante’, this experience learnt them that a starting entrepeneur has to come up with a unique concept to distinguish from his concurrents.
